Dog plucked from eighth floor canopy
A dog was rescued yesterday after being stranded for three days on the eighth floor canopy of a Tai Kok Tsui building. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, fire services and police were called to the Kok Cheung Street building on Monday. Rescuers gave up trying to lure it to them after spending hours in fruitless attempts. It was stranded on a 60cm-wide canopy, which could not support the weight of a man. They set a trap on Tuesday and the dog was retrieved yesterday.
