Grammy Award winning US soul singer John Legend performed a selection of new songs and old hits for a special audience at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental hotel's MO Bar recently.

The soul sensation's performance was prefaced by two other artists doing mini-sets, Thai pianist ToR+ and Filipino songstress Julia Duncan.

During his performance Legend introduced several new tunes from his soon-to-be released album Evolver.

He also played solo versions of hit singles such as Save Room from his second album Once Again, and Ordinary People and Used To Love You from his debut album, Get Lifted.

The crowd danced the night away to his smooth grooves.

Shaking a leg or two were Kevin Poon, Lelia Chow Mei-fung, John Malig, Raphel le Masne Chermont, Robert Mancini and Landmark Mandarin Oriental's general manager Anthony Costa.
