Zhou Mi's bid for her third Super Series title this year failed last night after she was defeated in the final of the Denmark Open in Odense. The number four seed (pictured) was outclassed by emerging mainlander Wang Lin, who clinched the title 21-18, 21-10. It was Wang's first victory over Zhou in three attempts. Zhou prevailed in last month's China Masters Super Series final as well as the 2007 Singapore Super Series qualifiers. In the men's singles final, Denmark's Peter Gade beat compatriot Joachim Persson.
