With no engine, no exhaust fumes, your boat skimming across the waves powered only by the wind, the tide and your skilful handling, there's nothing better on a hot day than getting out of the smoky city and onto the open water.

Now you can try your hand at sailing () - and get expert coaching - for free!

Skandia and the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club have organised a special competition for Young Post readers with two Youth Sail Training Beginners Courses, each worth thousands of dollars, up for grabs.

All you have to do is to decorate the sail in the picture with your own design, then send it to us. The winning entry may even be used on a real sail.

Post your entries to:

Young Post Sailing, 16th floor, Somerset House, Taikoo Place, Quarry Bay.

Don't forget to include your name, phone number and address.

We also have souvenirs to give away to lucky readers.

The competition closes at noon on Wednesday, October 29. Winners will be announced on Monday, November 3.

Skandia: Sailing for All is a school programme, organised by the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC) and supported by Skandia. This new initiative is for local secondary schools in Hong Kong's Southern District and selected international primary schools with the aim of making sailing accessible to all.
