1 small bar of dark or milk chocolate for each apple

mini M&Ms

gummy worms

crushed nuts

raisins (if you want)

wooden skewers

wax or parchment paper

bowls

plastic bag

How to do it:

1) Get two bowls. Boil some water and place it in one bowl. Place the other bowl on top of it. Break the chocolate into pieces and put it in the empty bowl. After a while it will melt. If you like you can zap it for a minute at half power in the microwave to speed things up. But not more than that because otherwise you'll burn it.

(Tip: Make sure the water does not get

into the chocolate or else it will be ruined)

2) Wash and dry the apple.

3) Push a skewer into the apple.

4) Use the back of the spoon to squish the M&Ms, just once.

5) Holding the apple by the skewer, dip it into the chocolate to coat it. Shake off the extra chocolate, and keep turning the apple to get an even coating.

6) Stick some raisins and sprinkle nuts on to the apple

7) Stick some of the squished M&Ms on to the apple.

8) Stick the worms on

You might have to wait for a while for the chocolate to set slightly. Otherwise the things will just fall off and make a mess.
