$200m in CDs offered

THE Bank of Tokyo yesterday issued two-year fixed rate negotiable certificates of deposit (CDs) amounting to $200 million.

The issue, which was arranged and managed by the Union Bank of Switzerland, will be lodged with the Central Moneymarkets Units Service for clearing and custodian service. Coupon interest is 5.18 per cent.
