A secondary school student was sentenced to 80 hours of community service yesterday after she admitted to Acting Principal Magistrate Amanda Woodcock in Kwun Tong Court that she used forged documents to apply for a HK$20,000 bank loan. Chan Yee-yee, 16, said she planned to use the money for plastic surgery. To get the loan she used payroll advice slips from a friend, who later took HK$19,500 from her. The court heard Chan had repaid half the loan.
