District councillors to get pay review

The government will consider extending an end-of-service gratuity and medical allowance to district councillors. As of the current Legislative Council, lawmakers are entitled to such a gratuity and an annual medical allowance of HK$25,000. Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing told Legco the government would review district councillors' pay arrangements.
