Jane Lam Chan Yam-fai, widow of jewellery magnate Lam Sai-wing, has quit as chairwoman of 3D-Gold Jewellery Holdings amid mystery surrounding the alleged theft of gold bars worth about HK$179 million from the firm, which, as well as its subsidary Hang Fung Jewellery, was put into provisional liquidation last month. She remains an executive director.
