Fleming defends Bond's ICL move

Former captain Stephen Fleming believes Shane Bond made the right decision to quit test cricket and play for the 'rebel' Indian Cricket League. 'He was nursing injuries and it made sense for him to take this path,' Fleming said. Bond was banned by New Zealand cricket authorities after he joined the Delhi Giants in the ICL last year. 'Each player who signed with the ICL knew what the repercussions would be,' Fleming said. 'You have got to respect the establishment. There is no room for two Twenty20 competitions at the moment.'
