A drivers' group is launching a three-month boycott of Exxon Mobil service stations. It lacks a particular gripe with the firm, which was picked in a random draw, but hopes that hurting one fuel supplier will force the other three to cut prices. It claims cuts in prices lag drops in crude oil prices and hopes its 10,000 members can cause a drop in Exxon's business of up to 20 per cent.
