Director Wong Kar-wai is to be appointed honorary professor of the Open University of Hong Kong's School of Arts and Social Sciences today. It said the honour was for his directing, writing and producing. Tam Kwok-kan, dean of the school, will officiate at the award ceremony at the university's main campus in Ho Man Tin. Wong already holds an honorary doctorate from the university.
