What was the first watch you owned? It was a gift from my mother for my seventh birthday. It was a funny watch with an Egyptian drawing on the dial.

Which aspect of watch craftsmanship do you like most? I like the alchemy of the heritage in designing and producing sophisticated, high performance and precise movements. The patience and time put into each contribute to the uniqueness of every piece. Each watch is a piece of art in all its aspects. It's so amazing that such a little piece embodies a tremendous amount of effort, creativity, patience, teamwork and also reflects the long history in watchmaking.

What is your favourite time of day? It is late afternoon. The office becomes quiet when everyone is putting in their last effort to finish their work for the day. I am very productive at this time and I know I am still going to have the evening to enjoy the rest of the day.
