Stewards delay Munce inquiry

Jockey Club stewards have postponed the resumption of their inquiry into Australian jockey Chris Munce and the 'tips-for-bets' affair. The inquiry, reopened after Munce's recent release from jail, was due to resume next Monday but stewards have acceded to a request from Munce (pictured), who resumed riding track work in Sydney this week. Stewards have yet to announce when the video conference hearing, at which Munce will face 36 charges under the rules of racing, will reconvene.
