Injured Gerrard must report for duty
Fabio Capello has demanded Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard report for England duty despite the Reds pulling him out of tomorrow's friendly in Germany. Liverpool had assumed Gerrard wouldn't be needed as they claimed he tore a groin muscle at Bolton last Saturday, even though he played the full 90 minutes. But Capello has still ordered that Gerrard be assessed by the FA's own medical staff. Reds spokesman Ian Cotton told The Sun: 'A scan has confirmed a tear in Steven's right leg and he is expected to be out for between seven and 10 days.'
