Rehabilitated patients earn less

More than half of rehabilitated mental patients earn lower salaries than before they were diagnosed, an Alliance for Advocating Mental Health Policy survey found. The alliance said such people would be hit even harder amid the financial crisis, and called on the government to hire rehabilitated patients to a level of at least 1 per cent of the civil service.
