61 complaints over unwanted calls

Telecoms watchdog Ofta handled 61 complaints about person-to-person calls between December last year, when the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Ordinance came into effect, and November 12, acting Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Greg So Kam-leung said in a written reply to legislators yesterday. Thirty-seven of the cases involved commercial marketing activities.
