Public urged to be cautious during cold spell

The Observatory has reminded the public to be cautious, saying temperatures in the New Territories could drop to around 10 degrees Celsius. Last night, the temperature dropped under 20 degrees across the city. The mercury in urban areas might drop to around 14 degrees today and would be two to three degrees lower in rural areas. The high today will be about 19 degrees. The cold weather is set to last through the weekend.
