That's entertainment

It may look like the iPhone but Nokia's 5800 XpressMusic 3.5G handset (below) packs more features. It has built-in surround-sound stereo speakers, a 3.2-megapixel Carl Zeiss camera, a Wi-fi link and 16-gigabyte memory card sup-port. The 5800 XpressMusic, which, for no apparent reason, comes pre-loaded with the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight - costs HK$3,988.

Light fantastic

Designed for Web-surfing teens on the go and travellers, the Inspiron Mini 12 from Dell (above) is the first notebook built with a sharp 12-inch display. Weighing 1.23kg, it boasts an integrated webcam, the Windows Vista Home Basic operating system, 1GB of memory, Wi-fi and Bluetooth connectivity and a choice of 40GB or 80GB hard drive. Prices for the Inspiron Mini 12 start at HK$4,688.

Player's delight

Redefining what a portable media player that connects to the internet can look like, the tablet-type Archos 5 (below) sports Wi-fi and a 4.8-inch, high-resolution display with a generous storage capacity of up to 250GB - that's a fair few MP3 tunes or plenty of video, which can be played in high-definition. The Archos 5 sells for HK$3,980 at Fortress outlets.
