Teachers have told a survey that using e-books will ruin students' eyesight and writing skills. Almost 59 per cent of 1,051 respondents to a Women Teachers' Organisation survey said it would be impossible to switch from real to digital books in schools. Secretary for Education Michael Suen Ming-yeung announced in October that the Education Bureau would set up a working group on the development of textbooks and e-learning resources.
