Premature baby found dead at park

Detectives are investigating the discovery of the body of a newborn boy outside a park in To Kwa Wan early yesterday. The body, with the umbilical cord still attached, was found wrapped in a towel on top of an abandoned cabinet outside the main gate of Hoi Sham Park in Yuk Yat Street at 1.15am. A police spokesman said an initial investigation showed the body was that of a premature infant. An autopsy would be carried out, he said.
