If you are staying in Hong Kong this Christmas, among the many entertainment programmes around town is the IFC Christmas Carnival Comes Alive!
The shopping mall carnival features pantomime and a musical featuring two European circus artists performing mid-air stunts.
In the musical, 10-year-old Sorcha Jackson plays Wendy, a girl struggling to make a living selling matches at a circus. Her guardian angel, the Winter Fairy, brings her some Christmas joy.
Former Cirque du Soleil member, David Dimitri from Switzerland, walks a wire strung 7 metres above the ground without using a balancing pole. He says it would be easier with a pole, but after years of tightrope walking at 30m and higher, the 7m balancing act is not a challenge at all.
Forty-year-old German Noah Chorny leaves audiences gasping by performing stunts on top of a 5m pole.
Meanwhile, Sorcha, as Wendy, is set to warm the hearts of mall-goers with her angelic voice.
