ATV executive director Linus Cheung Wing-lam yesterday denied rumours that recently departed chief executive Ricky Wong Wai-kay was paid HK$10 million for his silence on his 12 days in the position. Mr Cheung said ATV was still searching for Mr Wong's replacement, that he was working on a reform plan for the struggling station, and that management was assessing whether to bid for one of the city's mobile TV licences.
