Witnesses identify karaoke bar arson suspect

Witnesses have positively identified a man whom police detained last week as the one who allegedly set fire to a Tsim Sha Tsui karaoke bar in 1997, killing 17. Two witnesses identified Choi Kam-fai, 33, an alleged Sun Yee On triad member, during an identity parade on Tuesday, Kwun Tong Court heard yesterday. His case has been adjourned to January 23 to be heard in Kowloon City Court. He will be held in custody until then.
