Festive fancy dress costume was once again the order of the day at the annual Boxing Day Race at Wan Chai Gap Park, where some 350 runners turned out to burn off the excesses of their Christmas feasting. More than 20 runners dressed as Santa made the 4km loop of Mt Cameron yesterday while others took part in everything from a penguin suit to a witch outfit. Wong Tin-yau was the first runner to cross the finish line, winning the men's race in a time of 15:13. Distance runner Ho Hoi-to placed second overall in 15:39 while Nathan Ho took third in 16:09. Li Suet-fei won the women's race in 17:35.
