Bonhams' 2008 Autumn Auction and Dinner

Where: Harbour Room, Island Shangri-La

When: December 1

What: Auctioneer Bonhams kicked off its four-day 2008 Autumn Auction with a cocktail reception and dinner with some 100 local art and antique devotees. It was also the launch of its Wine Education Scholarship. Bonhams donated 14 lots of fine wine for a silent auction and raised HK$213,000 for further wine education in Hong Kong.

Who: Spotted were Bonhams' Asia managing director Carson Chan Kai-shun, Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Yvonne Choi Ying-pik, British Consul-General Andrew Seaton, the newly retired head of InvestHK Mike Rowse, Arts of Asia's Robin Markbreiter and Tuyet Nguyet, Dessa Goddard, Julian King, Lucy Gomersall and Camille Jojo.
