Boy critically injured by taxi

A 13-year-old boy was critically injured when hit by a taxi in Cheung Sha Wan at 4pm yesterday. Police said the boy was crossing at the junction of Cheung Sha Wan Road and Hing Wah Street. Police said an initial investigation indicated he had not checked the traffic properly. The boy was taken to Caritas Medical Centre and transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital.

Motorcyclist crashes on flyover

A motorcyclist, 36, was injured when he lost control of his bike on the Canal Road flyover in Wan Chai at 9.15am. He was taken to Ruttonjee Hospital in stable condition.

Man hit by passing car

A 25-year-old man waiting for a tow truck beside his broken-down sports car on the Tolo Highway was slightly injured when hit by a passing car. He was treated at Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital and discharged.

Hiker, 76, flown to hospital

A government helicopter rescued a 76-year-old man who complained of a severe headache at about 1pm while hiking with friends on High Junk Peak Country Trail in Sai Kung. He was flown to Eastern Hospital and was discharged later.

Police called to row on bus

Police were called to settle a row on a bus in Causeway Bay at about 3pm. A woman, 20, had lost her balance and hurt her hand as the bus stopped on Causeway Road. Her 21-year-old boyfriend engaged in a heated argument with the driver for about half an hour. Other passengers called the police. No one was arrested.
