An unemployed electrical engineer was jailed for 28 months yesterday for burgling a Sai Kung home. Chan Kai-kau, 45, who pleaded guilty to one count of burglary, was arrested after he broke into a home belonging to the niece of media mogul Sir Run Run Shaw. The District Court heard that on November 1, a domestic helper alerted police, who found Chan coming down the stairs of the house with his face covered with red underpants.
