Former China national team captain Li Weifeng (pictured) will come to Hong Kong for the Lunar New Year Cup after his move to Korean giants Suwon Bluewings from controversial China Super League side Wuhan Guanggu. The defender's agent confirmed yesterday the player will reunite with Cha Bum-kun, Li's coach at Shenzhen in the 1990s. The reigning Korean champions are prepared to send a full team to Hong Kong, including goalkeeper Lee Woon-jae and midfielder Song Chong-gug.
