Tela to pay costs in obscenity case

The Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority must pay its adversaries' legal fees in a high-profile obscenity case. Mr Justice Johnson Lam Man-hon yesterday ordered the regulator to write cheques to Ming Pao Newspapers and Tong Sai-ho, former chief editor of Chinese University's CU Student Press. The judge noted that Tela had challenged their appeal against an Obscene Articles Tribunal verdict against them.
