Four hurt in Sha Tin crash

Four people aged 26 to 50 were injured when a car and motorcycle hit a road barrier on Sha Lek Highway, Sha Tin, at about 8.45am yesterday. The injured, who included the driver and rider, were admitted to Prince of Wales Hospital.

Two held over ketamine

Two men aged 19 and 21 were arrested after police intercepted their car in Tam Kon Shan Road, Tsing Yi, at about 2am during an anti-crime operation and seized about 13.5 grams of ketamine.

Body found in corridor

A woman, 35, was found dead in a corridor at a residential building in Chuen Lung Street, Tsuen Wan, shortly after midnight. Police said the case was not suspicious.

Drivers arrested for assault

Two taxi drivers aged 38 and 48 were arrested for assault in Wan Chai Road, Wan Chai, at 4.30am. They were admitted to Ruttonjee Hospital.

Engine catches fire

A man called police when smoke began to emit from his car's engine while he was driving along Repulse Bay Road towards Stanley at about 11am. Firemen put out the fire.

Burglars rob two shops

Shops at 169 and 170 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, were burgled at about midday, with goods and cash worth HK$12,000 stolen.

No one won the first prize in last night's draw. The numbers were 3, 7, 16, 19, 44 and 47. The extra number was 31. Three tickets each won second prize of HK$554,585. Third prize paid HK$64,300.
