Kindergarten children can apply for government or subsidised Primary One school places through the central allocation system at designated centres today and tomorrow. Under the system, the city is divided into 36 school nets. Parents can choose up to three schools outside the school net they live in, others must be within it. Wary that some parents might wrongly claim to live in the school net to which their preferred schools belong, the Education Bureau warned parents this week to fill in their children's actual residential addresses. The application results will be released on June 6.
