Thoroughly cleanse dirt, oil and residue from your face using a cleansing oil, then ensure you're clean with a mild cleansing foam (for people who have oily skin) or milk (for dry skin).

Lunasol Watery Oil Cleansing (HK$170/200ml)

As the name suggests, this is watery and not oily. You need a few applications to remove mascara and base, but skin is left clean and not at all greasy.

RMK Cleansing Oil N (HK$220/175ml)

Runny and not too greasy, this goes on smoothly and wipes off all traces of makeup in one go, leaving skin refreshed. Make sure you keep it well away from your eyes.

Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil (HK$168/120ml)

Dissolves makeup, even clunky mascara, with ease. It leaves skin clear and smooth but probably isn't strong enough to clean oily skin. Great value for the price, though.

Missha Near Skin Extra Renew Cleansing Oil (HK$178/150ml)

A gel, rather than a liquid oil, this is easy to apply and easy to wipe off - along with the day's makeup, grease and grime. You might need a couple of applications for heavy makeup, but this is reliable and non-drying.

Shu Uemura Skin Purifier Cleansing Oil (HK$250/150ml)

Don't let the greasy appearance scare you: this oil does a great job of dissolving all the dirt and makeup on your face, leaving it squeaky clean. One of the brand's unmissable signature products.
