Man jailed 32 months for scam

An unemployed 54-year-old man, Tam Tak-wah, was jailed for 32 months yesterday for conspiring to open a purported law firm and cheating two victims out of more than HK$2 million through an auction scam. He had earlier pleaded guilty in the District Court to charges of conspiracy to defraud and money laundering.
