Bringing some excitement to PE
Many students find Physical Education (PE) lessons boring.
To promote PE, schools should invite top athletes to visit and speak to students.
The Beijing Olympics produced many new stars that students would be interested to hear from.
Another good way to increase interest in PE  would be to introduce some new sports, such as baseball for example.
Some form of competition between teachers and students could also be popular, and would boost school spirit.
PE lessons are important so let's make them fun for everyone. They are a good chance for students to exercise and stay fit.

Let's teach sensible spending at school
There has been a lot of news about students spending their way to bankruptcy before they even finish their studies.
Many teenagers seem to be obsessed with shopping these days.
There is such a wide range of goods available, and it is so easy to pay with a credit card.
Banks aggressively promote their credit cards at universities. Each card offers special attractions, such as discounts in certain shops.
All this makes students think they will lose out unless they own several cards.
The materialistic nature of Hong Kong society and our teens' obsession with brand-name products could lead to disaster. Young people need help to avoid the danger of excessive credit spending.
Schools should teach them the difference between what they want and what they need. They should also learn about financial planning, saving and budgeting.

Learning to lead
Being a good leader requires different qualities.
I have been a Red Cross Youth leader for two years. I try very hard to serve our members as well as possible, and to be someone they can turn to and rely on.
A good leader needs to maintain a good relationship with team members. This will make co-operating to solve problems a lot easier.
Learning to encourage people is also very important. Everybody needs to be encouraged.
Finally, as a leader you  must be prepared to take responsibility, for the good things and the bad.

Angel and devil
Many people think I am a kind person. I am just like an angel, they say.
But I am also a devil.
I have been unkind to my helper. She has been unhappy and has complained to my mother.
Now that she is going to leave, I feel so bad about the way I treated her.
I hope she will find a good employer and won't be so unhappy in future.
I've realised we should not be nasty to people.
I do want to be an angel and bring happiness instead of misery.

It's important for celebrities to set good examples.
Teenagers look up to their idols as role models, and copy their behaviour.
They copy the bad habits their idols display.
