18 schoolgirls fall ill after restaurant meal

The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a case in which 18 girls from St Stephen's College Preparatory School in Stanley fell ill with abdominal pain and other symptoms after eating at the Natural Gourmet Restaurant in Stanley Plaza. The group, aged 11 and 12, had sea bass fillets on Thursday. The centre said it had referred the case to the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department. The girls did not require hospital treatment.
