Celebs' charity trip ends at doctor's
Charlene Choi Cheuk-yin, Vivian Chow Wai-man and Hins Cheung King-hin recently fell ill following a charity trip to Nepal on behalf of World Vision.
At a promotional event after returning to Hong Kong, a fatigued Choi (left) said: 'I have already gone to the doctor and had some injections, but I still have a temperature and diarrhoea.
'My assistant, who went with me, is too sick to come to work. Vivian and I have the same symptoms, while Hins fell ill a day before we did.'
But the 26-year-old singer-actress said the incident would not keep her from visiting the country again.
'I would like to go back there,' she said. 'This tells us how bad environmental hygiene is over there. Besides, I have sponsored a child in Nepal, so I still want to go back.'
