Vandal admits defacing MTR property

An unemployed 23-year-old pleaded guilty in Kwun Tong Court yesterday to 18 charges of criminal damage. Robert Tang used stones to scratch the word 'SHRUB' on train windows and platform screen doors in MTR stations 18 times between November and last month. The cost of the damage was put at HK$160,000. The case was adjourned to February 27 pending a background report.
