Karl Lagerfeld made belts a must-have accessory a few years ago when he sent models down the Fendi runway wearing wide, waist-cinching belts. Since then he has created a signature style every season, which fly off the shelves as soon as they hit the stores. This season's hip style is modelled on the door locks of traditional Chinese houses (maybe Lagerfeld was inspired by his trip to Beijing last year) and is fastened with a slider at the back. The belt is made from a thick elastic material and features a round cutout at the front creating a cool space-age look.
