Chefs, food supplier guilty over kickbacks

Three chefs and a food supplier who hatched a deal under which the latter gave kickbacks to the former in exchange for product orders were found guilty of conspiracy yesterday. Eastern Court Magistrate Gary Lam Kar-yan convicted the four of conspiracy for an agent to accept advantages. The case was adjourned to March 2 pending community service and background reports.
