Sit back and listen to the relaxing harmonies of Il Divo's latest album, The Promise. The four good-looking singers deliver another classical crossover album full of heartfelt songs and passionate vocals.

The operatically trained quartet bring a classical approach to popular songs - and to stunning effect. Every song here is a gem. The group's sixth release includes Spanish versions of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's The Power of Love (La Fuerza Mayor), Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah (Aleluya) and Abba's The Winner Takes It All (Va Todo Al Ganador). The foursome also perform a powerful rendition of Amazing Grace in English.

Compelling opener The Power of Love features a tender Spanish guitar accompaniment. Italian title track La Promessa starts very softly, and slowly builds up to an almost overwhelming climax.

The Divos' cover of The Winner Takes It All has to be the highlight. The band takes this iconic pop song into a whole new emotional realm, making it a must-listen for any fan of the Swedish quartet. Make sure you pick up the deluxe version of the album. It includes a bonus DVD featuring the music videos for Amazing Grace, The Power of Love and Hallelujah, along with an interview with Il Divo.
