Customs officer Poon Cheuk-yin, 27, on trial in Kwun Tong Court yesterday for possession of prohibited goods, said he bought five grenades police seized from his flat at a Mong Kok toy shop. Police said the grenades contained explosive sulfur powder. Poon, who has pleaded not guilty, said he thought they would only produce mist. The case was adjourned to March 26.
