Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?

Throughout the ages, there have been countless unlikely heroes that have stepped up when the world was in need of a defender of the weak and champion of justice.

Such heroes include Spider-Man, Captain America, Harry Potter, Papa Smurf and even the Care Bears.

Rising like a phoenix from the fiery ashes of the underworld, one lone Prinny must heed the call and step up to find all the ingredients to the 'Ultra Dessert'.

He also has to stop the Demoness Etna from using him and his fellow Prinnies as punching bags in the new PSP game Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?

A Prinny is an adorable character in a popular role-playing game series called Disgea. They look like penguins with pirate peg legs and have small bat wings on their backs. In the mythos of those games they are the souls of bad people and are used as slaves by the various demon lords of the underworld.

The story starts with Etna in a fury because someone has stolen her sweets, and now she's taking out her anger on the Prinnies. The only way they can make her happy is to get her an Ultra Dessert. But that's not a simple task, since you'll have to travel all across the underworld, facing gluttonous ogres, greedy zombies, two-faced cat girls, bad-tempered witches and more!

The game is a fun platformer that will have you navigating obstacle courses.

You will have to slice and dice your way through tree stump monsters and evil winged creatures before the final showdown with the level-end boss. The developers included a time element into the game. The passing of time changes stage appearance and difficulty as you progress. The game features 10 stages with hidden characters and vehicles you can use to run over or shoot enemies.

This game is a good buy.
