Many clinics open from 9am to 8pm. Physiotherapists often work in shifts: the morning shift is from 9am 5pm and the afternoon shift is from 2pm to 8pm.

Patients' appointments usually last between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the individual's need.

Many physiotherapists work alternate Saturdays - most clinics only close on Sundays.

In cases where a physiotherapist has on-field duties for sports teams, they will often have to work on Saturdays or Sundays when most sporting events take place.
