 Ends Saturday
  There is an annoying ease in galleries spotting talented young art graduates and quickly  presenting  their works in a group exhibition.
 In Fresh, one suspects the thought, encouragement and  time graduates deserve has been  jettisoned for the chance to  be the first  to exhibit some bright up-and-comers.
Tang Kwok-hin and Ho Sin-tung are two Chinese University graduates worth watching; however, much of the work on display here was exhibited during their graduation shows and elsewhere.
Tang is skilled at computer manipulation and the imaginary landscapes he creates (below),  using collages and sets he constructed, are  effective.
Ho  was a student at Gaylord Chan's  Tai Po art school  prior to her university  studies.  Her work is seductively likeable,  mimicking 18th-century topographical maps and using period typography and contemporary stamps, chops and  literary and contemporary references.   The disparate use of these elements borders on the arbitrary, making  truly comprehending her work difficult.
Elise Lai is  an undergraduate student and although she has been doing illustrative pieces in  local magazines and displays a welcome psychological tension, she should  be allowed to wallow in artistic experimentation and maturity for  a while longer.
Chris Lo  is not fresh: he is  established and his inclusion  in this exhibition is not explained.   He is, however, one of Hong Kong's best  ceramicists, willing to tackle tough abstract and representational ideas in his work. His two Machine Gun - Sweet Surrender pieces  are a free-swinging nod to the dada of Marcel Duchamp.
