Executive diploma in enterprise risk management, HKU Space

A new course offered by the school focuses on the implementation of risk management strategies. Students can expect to learn to identify risks, analyse risks and develop plans to reduce risks to business. Students will also learn to develop an understanding of business and financial management characteristics. The course will teach practical approaches to manage enterprise risk, and cover other management skills relevant to risk management. The programme is targeted at risk professionals, management consultants, directors and accountants, among other professionals. Graduates can go on to study the postgraduate diploma in enterprise risk management. Entry requirements bachelor's degree or other equivalent professional qualification. Tuition fee HK$10,000.

Advanced diploma in Corporate Administration and Governance, HKU Space

A part-time programme targeted at those with careers in company administration, governance and company secretaryship. Modules include business topics such as business communication, business economics and business administration, and company secretaryship, business law of Hong Kong and the mainland, basic accounting and strategic issues in management. On graduation students should be able to conceptualise and analyse situations faced by companies, and evaluate and assess theories and methodologies in their workplace. Graduates will be exempt from up to three papers of the 14 examination papers of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Entry requirements HKALE grade E in one AL subject or two AS subjects or equivalent; two years of working experience is preferable. Tuition fee HK$29,800.

Master of Education, school of continuing education, Hong Kong Baptist University

Offered by the University of Western Australia's graduate school of education, the programme covers the theory of national and international educational practices. Studied part-time over 21 months, the programme will cover seven subjects, including e-learning, educational leadership, curriculum context, development and innovation, and human resource development in education. University of Western Australia's staff will lead lectures in Hong Kong. A graduate diploma in professional studies in education is also available, offering articulation to the master's programme. Entry requirements university degree and relevant professional experience. Tuition fee HK$84,000.
