Fraud-trial defence granted more time

The fraud trial of Pauline Cousins, managing director of financial services company Crown Asset Management, was adjourned until September 28. District Court Judge Andrew Chan Hing-wai granted a request from barrister Kevin Egan for more time to prepare the defence case. Cousins is facing seven charges of furnishing false information and fraud.
