An All Nippon Airways aircraft with nearly 200 passengers and crew was forced to return to Chek Lap Kok Airport about an hour after takeoff when the smell of burning was detected. The airline said it came from a burn mark on a seat it believed was caused by a cigarette lighter. The plane took off at 4am after a delay of two hours, arriving in Tokyo at 8am.
