Smoking ban will cut patronage, poll finds

Some 88 per cent of patrons of more than 1,300 entertainment venues including karaoke rooms, saunas, nightclubs and mahjong parlours will stop going or reduce patronage when a smoking ban is imposed in July, a survey by the Entertainment Business Rights Concern group found. It said 85 per cent of patrons were smokers.
