Gastro-tourists might enjoy the Mandarin Oriental Singapore's new gourmet package. The deal, which costs S$719 (HK$3,676) for a premier harbour room and S$919 for a newly renovated Mandarin grand room, per night, twin-share, includes a bottle of champagne on arrival, an American buffet breakfast at the hotel's Melt Cafe, a set lunch for two with a bottle of wine at the Cherry Garden Cantonese restaurant, and a set dinner for two with a bottle of champagne at Dolce Vita Italian restaurant, located next to the swimming pool (below). The package also includes traditional English afternoon tea at the Axis Bar and Lounge, a 20 per cent discount on ?la carte spa treatments at the Oriental Spa and one selection from a range of 'signature gourmet experiences', including a cultural tour of the city's Peranakan history, a dinner and tour of a local night market and breakfast at the Singapore Zoo.
